Boulder, Colorado is a great place to ride bicycles year-round. With an average of 300 days of sunshine a year, chances are it's nice out right now! Great roads, bike paths, dirt roads on the plains and up in the hills, and a growing mountain bike trail network await. Even in Winter and Spring when we get our trademark upslope blizzards, a couple days later the sun comes out, the warm Chinook winds drop down, and the roads dry out pretty quickly. Trails can get sloppy and torn up when wet, but be patient and rip 'em in the Summer and Fall. Besides road riding, there is no lack of other outdoor diversions to partake in while you wait for those trails to dry out. And for those few days and cold nights when riding outdoors just isn't a safe or pleasant option, check out an indoor cycling class at Fascat Coaching or hit the board track and terrain park at Boulder Indoor Cycling.
